I can receive messages without issue, however, I cannot send mail at all.

When clicking the send button nothing happens. There's no error message. It appears clicking the button does not nothing at all.

I migrated my profile from another computer. However, I have also created a new fresh mail account and the same issue occurs.

I am running Ubuntu 17.10 with Thunderbird 52.4.0 (64 bit)

This is resolved! There seemed to be some conflict with add-ons brought over from my previous profile.
