Before upgrading I had no problems accessing/logging in and using the full features of my Health First account.

Since upgrading to 57.0.3 I can still login. However I am unable to get to the area of the site for Doctor Look-Up Tool.

I have contacted Healthfirst and they had me use Safari to go the there Healthfirst generic web site - by doing this I was able to use the Doctor Look-up Tool.

However, I went to Healthfirst generic using Firefox, and was still unable to get the Doctor Look-Up Tool.

So, now I'm trying to figure out why I can not get it with FF but I can with Safari.

I have checked all the Permissions settings for the Healthfirst site in FF.

Chosen solution

I found the problem, it's the uBlock Origin Add-on, it's been working very well blocking a whole lot of "stuff", darn, I guess it's working to well.

Is there a work-around for this. I hate to give up uBlock - I was using Ad Block prior to the upgrade, but this FF version does not support it. I did not have this problem with Add Block.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

The problem is gone in Safe mode! So, now what is going on in this upgrade of Firefox that is causing the problem, that was not before the upgrade?

What kind of issues do you have using that website?

You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.

Firefox 42+ has a Tracking Protection feature that is enabled by default in Private Browsing mode. Firefox can show a shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar that some content is blocked by Tracking Protection, click the shield icon for more information.

You can disable this feature in "Options/Preferences -> Privacy" or via the about:privatebrowsing page that get when you open a New Private Window.

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy: "Use Tracking Protection in Private Windows"

I'm using FF 57.0.3, the problem is with the uBlock Origin Add-on, I'm trying to figure out the setting to stop the problem.

the problem is with the uBlock Origin

Open the web page. Then open the options for uBlock and have it not block that site.
