Want to use FIREFOX only, delete CHROME, but understand unless my Android phone supports certain software, I will encounter problems using the phone. I feel FIREFOX is better suited to my needs. Thank you.

Hi

I should be able to help you with this as I have successfully removed Chrome from my Android device:

  • From the Android home screen, open the application drawer and select the Settings application (usually a cog wheel)
  • Scroll down to Apps
  • Find and open Chrome
  • Select Disable and Uninstall Updates

This should disable Chrome on your device.
