I have switched ISP, Bell to Teksavvy, all is going great until I did a dumb thing last night. I was getting an invalid login when I started T-bird from the Bell (Sympatico), Bell had removed my account. Late in the evening I removed the account from Thunderbird. I kept the profile, so I have the Inbox...etc. It is a Pop account, 'pophm.sympatico.ca' Is there an easy way to transfer the inbox from Sympatico to Teksavvy? I've tried to recreate the sympatico account and swap profiles, but, I don't have access to create one anymore.

The email are more historical as I forwared them stating a month ago to ensure the new account was working prior to letting go of the old.

Nice to have them though.

Chosen solution

Select Help/Troubleshooting Information, click Open Folder to show the profile folder in File Explorer, then close TB. Under the Mail subfolder you should see a subfolder named something like pophm.sympatico.ca. In that folder are the mbox files (large files with no file extension) named Inbox, Sent etc. Copy the mbox files to Mail/Local Folders, restart TB, and you should see the Sympatico mail folders as subfolders of Local Folders.
