Here in Malaysia, using firefox, I am unable to open the website shoppe.com.my. There is no error code. It shows https://shopee.com.my in the search or address bar and that's it. Using chrome, the site opens without issue. I have disabled all add-ions with no effect.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I had no problem with the https link.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there? +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

Starting Firefox in Safe Mode had no effect - still could not open the web site.

Unable to connect to the network in Windows safe mode with a usb wireless adapter.

Deleting Firefox and reinstalling Firefox - still could not open the web site.

Using Chrome - no problem.

Using Tor Browser - no problem.

I'm at a complete loss.

Are you using (or need) a VPN to access specific websites?

You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.

You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.

If necessary use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" (Mac: Command+Shift+R) to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.

In Malaysia, a VPN is needed to bypass government censorship for world news sites. However, I don't use a VPN for day to day browsing or work.

When I did this: "You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.

   https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Tools/Web_Console",

The filter output returned the following:

I'm not sure what all this means.

I'm not using "private browsing".
