I have reset my laptop (Windows 10) yesterday (and added an SSD so it's super empty and clean) and installed firefox ( latest update). However some files that I try to download will show an "unknown time remaining" errror (not all), add a 0 byte file on my hardware and never progress from there on - these files are always downlaodable on microsoft edge (so it can't be my anitivirus program). I have tried changing the destination folder and resetarting my pc but the error remains.

It would be a bummer if I had to change the browser because of that because it's too much of a hassle switching between browsers.

Thank you for your help, Serane

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
