Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

One issue that seems more common lately is Firefox's Tracking Protection feature. When it is blocking content in a page, a shield icon will appear at the left end of the address bar next to the padlock icon. This article has more info on managing this feature: Tracking Protection {web link}

For clarity, I edited/reworded your post: (I hope I got it right)

With certain web pages, when I need to click on a box, upon moving the cursor over the box, (for next page, checking out, reviews, etc) it won't 'click' (activate or perform action) and different parts of web pages won't work (reviews, ask question) such as going to page 2, but I still remain on the same page.

Do you have a Website or Webpage link example?

Please do the following:

Click on the Windows icon 'Start' (bottom-left) and in the right column, bottom, click on Run. Enter in:

DxDiag /64bit

(Skip the /64bit part if it's Windows 32-Bit.)

...Wait until the green bar loads and disappears, then click "Save All Information".
Post back here in the Forum, just these information parts, under these three Headers:

    System Information
Display Devices
Disk & DVD/CD-ROM Drives
