Hello Could be since a Windows update, but every time i send an email, it appears twice in the "send" box but is only received once by the recipient luckily. But I keep having to clean out all these extra sent messages Any ideas please? Thanks

Some providers will auto put a copy in the 'Sent' folder by default. For example: gmail by default will put a copy of what you send in the server 'Sent' folder. This means you do not need to tell gmail to save a copy. Maybe the server you are using is doing the same.

  • Right click on mail account name in Folder Pane and select 'Settings'.
  • Select 'Copies & Folders'

when sending messages, automatically:

  • uncheck 'Place a copy in'
  • click on 'OK'
