can not download faceook gifs or videos from Facebook

I am using the latest version of face book browser and when i click on a video or a Gif to save to my desktop from the new Facebook they will not go to my desktop. I have disabled all addon and still they will not. I have facebook video extensions and gif viewer extension on my page and still it will not go. I have windows media player as the default viewer also have the ifran view as ell but it wil not cipy to desktop in windows 10
