open links in different FF profile based on TB account
This is probably a long shot, but here is my question: Is it possible to set up TB so that links are opened in a different FF profile depending on the TB account?
Here's my situation. I have two email addresses set up in TB -- a personal one and a work one. I also have two FF profiles -- again, personal and work. For both programs, the personal is default.
When I receive an email with a link in my work account and click on it, it opens in the personal profile in FF, since that is default. It would be great if there was some way to tie TB account and FF profiles, so links in personal emails open in my personal FF profile and links in the work account in the work profile.
Any way of setting this up?

I don't know of a way to do this, but in the meantime you could have FF open in both profiles (from about:profiles), then open links in TB by drag and drop from TB to the correct FF/profile.
Thanks for the suggestion. That's what I do now, but it requires me to stop and think each time I click on a link in an email. Not the worst thing, but still a little annoying.
Is there any way to direct TB to use something other than the default browser? One option I thought of was having two TB profiles with the work account in the second TB profile which could then be pointed to the work FF profile. I don't like the extra overhead from running two instances of TB (in addition to already running two instances of FF) but I might be willing to consider it if it allowed for no-think clicking.
TB will always open links in the default profile, and I'm not aware of any way to change that.
Yeah, I figured it was a big ask. It's too bad given the relationship between TB and FF that nothing was ever put in place to allow them to work in tandem like this.
