Chosen solution

Thanks for the additional information. And I cannot disagree with your feelings (and experiences) with updates.  :-)

I think my prior response took for granted that some features would be easily found by you.

But we can take it step by step.

Firstly, what may have happened when the update occurred is that your extensions and add-ins you had installed on your FireFox became out-of-sync, to simply put it. And the FF profile that was used by the prior version may have been sent into the closet.

There are some we can try to see whats going on and the solution(s) available.

As i had mentioned before with "safemode", both the operating system and firefox employ safe mode strategies.

To employ FireFox safemode, go to the Menu Bar at the top of FF. And under help secttion there is Troubleshooting mode. Invoke the trouble shooting mode of Fire Fox and skip/avoid the "refresh" option.

Afterwards, test run your FF and the email sites.

Let us know what you discover!  :-)

You can try a couple of things to see if the issue can be pin pointed.

1) when on the site turn off tracking protection. it presents itself as a shield icon on the far right of the address bar. sometimes its hidden unti lyou hover over the area. if you see, click it and turn off the protection. then reload the site and see if its better.

2) you can try FireFox in safemode. This option is under the Help section of the Menu Bar at top of browser. Then see if the issue is resolved.

  1. 1 did nothing
  2. 2-firefox safemode does not appear anywhere on my screen.

I hate it when everyone assumes updates make things better. I prefer the old version! If I can't get it resolved I will have to try another browser. I hate to lose all my bookmarks but I cannot deal with not having email working on my laptop.
