I can no longer send emails after update to 93.0b5 (32-bit)
I can no longer send emails after update to 93.0b5 (32-bit) Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) mail.copper.net failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again. Help please

Thank You AgnesRM, I have not changed a thing in my settings but sending email has once again resumed. I was during the difficulty with Thunderbird able to send messages through the Copper web site and had just up graded the software version thus thought Thunderbird was the difficulty but now possibly it was Copper! I really like Thunderbird and their email layout. This is a thanks to the whole team there. Tom

Hi Can copper.net support verify what settings you need in the outgoing SMTP settings? They should provide server name and port and security settings. Just check that you have the right settings in Thunderbird - Account Settings. I looked online and could only find an ancient set of instructions from 2008, using port 25 which is often blocked by ISPs these days to prevent spam. So I hope that there are newer SMTP settings for Copper.net.
