Hello, After automatic update of FF to version 94.0.2 and restart of program started my problems. Since that time browser is not working properly. Program starts but will not load homepage or will not show any webpage after putting its URL and enter key. Also no setting is possible to show. Seems like browser is not connected to internet. But if I look in menu of FF " about application Firefox" there is shown that program is searching update and will show me message "you are using last version". I tried renew installation, uninstall and reinstall Firefox but without success. Also tried to install older version but without success. All other web browsers installed in PC are working correctly. Can somebody help me solve this problem please? Thank you

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
  • Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see

Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet. {web link}

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select Network.

[56+] Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Look for Network. +++++++++++++++++++++ Look for Configure How Firefox Connects and press the Settings button. If you are using a proxy, make sure those settings are correct. If there is no proxy, first try No Proxy. If there is a problem, then try System Proxy.

Try to start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to see if that works.

  • Windows: hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox
  • Mac: hold down the Options key while starting Firefox

to FredMcD Thank you for your response. All security setting like firewall and computer protection are made by ESET internet security automatically. When I switch off ESET software nothing will happen to Firefox. It seems like FF is not installed completely. Do not understand despite several attempts of installation and unistall.

to cor-el When I try to start FF in Troubleshoot Mode nothing will happen. Appearance of opened FF is like on image. Blank white page. In previous version it was page with name Firefox and search bar in middle.

Whatever I will try to write into URL bar and pressing enter key will fail. Whatever I will try to open from right upper menu like Setting will fail to open.

I also tried to run Firefox portable (last version) from flash disk. Again no reaction when I put any website in URL.

It might have been a corrupt file somewhere. No way to tell.
