I currently use MS Office for my word processer needs (Word) & Outlook for my e-mail. My original e-mail is an old Roadrunner one (Time Warner) & Outlook is used as a POP 3. I want to get rid of MS Office all together & stop having to pay their monthly sub. rate. Many folks have suggested that I replace MS Office with LibreOffice, which is free & then use Thunderbird to replace Outlook. Since I'm just a basic user & not a computer guru, I just wanted to know if Thunderbird is Pop3 or IMAP capable & if it's a good program to use for my e-mail. As much as I despise anything associated with MS, Outlook has been a very good e-mail client.

Thanks, Ken
