In any folder, I can untick Thread from the column chooser, but I'm using Thunderbird for 11 different accounts each with between 4 & 8 folders. So is there a way to turn off threading globally?

Same thing. Really need that feature - turn off threading globally (conversations).

Threading is really a pain in the ass. So many places in Thunderbird, where U can select something with threads. It is completely confusing and I have spent hours trying to figure out, what happens when I click and select this and that.

I would like a Thunderbird WITHOUT THREADING COMPLETELY !

I don't believe that there is no global option to disable it?!?

And with every update threaded views are reset, perhaps not all of them, but quite a few. Extremely annoying. Thunderbird developers, please add an option to globally disable threading on all folders.
