Thunderbird and Comcast
For the last few days. I am unable to send emails from Thunderbird. I can receive but I get an error:
Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Please ensure your email address and authenticating user match when sending messages. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again.
I receive emails fine and can send from my phone etc??

Please post a screenshot of in your incoming server settings and also one of your SMTP server settings. That may help. If there are multiple comcast accounts, please post screenshots of all of them.
