My Samsung S22 media output tab has recently stopped recognizing when the Firefox browser is playing media (YouTube etc.), causing the pause functionality of earbuds and the ease of pausing without having to open the app to stop working. I'd been using it for months with no issues and I never changed anything. I've tried every setting I could find, clearing the caches of all related apps, and reinstalling them.

Hi dustinbarnes826, Hope you are doing well. According to my knowledge, it seems that there's an issue with your Samsung S22 media output tab not recognizing when the Firefox browser is playing media, causing problems with the pause functionality of your earbuds and the ease of pausing without having to open the app.

It's strange that this issue has only started recently, especially if you haven't made any changes to your device or settings. You've already tried troubleshooting by checking every setting you could find again, clearing the caches of all related apps, and reinstalling them, but the problem persists.

One thing you could try is to update your device's operating system and the Firefox browser to their latest versions. This may help resolve any compatibility issues between the two that could be causing the problem.

If that doesn't work, you could also try resetting your device's settings to their default values. However, keep in mind that this will erase all your device's customized settings and preferences, so make sure to back up your important data before doing so.

I hope this will help you!
