115 Update: Unified folders are all confused

Unified folders got confused after 115 update. I have several problems with folders from several mailboxes not showing in their respective category. For example, inbox that doesn't show in "inbox" category, Junk folder not in "junk" category, and so on. I think all of them are caused by thunderbird not being able to recognize the kind of each folder in different mailboxes, because of different providers and their settings. I have accounts in major providers such as Google and Yahoo, but also have several independent (i.e. business or work) accounts. One of the most striking example of this trouble is one university account that has all it's folders (sent, junk etc) organized under it's inbox. This was showing ok in the previous versions (junk was "junk" category) but now I get all folders (as subfolders) in the "inbox" category, under the account's name.

I attach screenshot from unified inbox. Note that the inbox from one account is missing and in another account all folders are under inbox.

Chosen solution

Oh, I found a good enough solution, posted by sfhowes here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1426387#answer-1608562

That solved missing folders in Sent, Junk etc. I still get the user created folders under Inbox, as shown in the picture, where as Gmail account have these folders outside of Inbox. Good enough though.

There are some fixes coming for these precise issues over the next week. For now...

As a temporary workaround use View > Folders > All Folders

It's been nearly a month since the new version and Unified folders issues have not been resolved. Anyone knows if there is a timeplan?

sfhowes recommendation did bring back my Sent folders as mentioned in the resolution, but I continue to experience many problems with the 115.31 upgrade. One problem was that I was seeing deleted messages back in my inbox folders, and messages missing in unified inbox. You may want to follow my bugzilla ticket at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1857734 . Part of the solution was to right+click > properties > repair on each individual account's Inbox. Since upgrading, the sum of all my inbox messages (all accounts) does not equal the number of messages in my unified inbox. The repair solution did improve that to some extent, and resolved the missing messages, but the numbers are still not adding up, as they were with previous versions. Hope this helps.
