Opening a site outside of a container

I've recently tried to use containers for something new, but I can't seem to get it to do what I want -assuming it's even possible. Is there a way to either have part of a website excluded from "always open in container" or to remove a specific tab from a container if it's "always open in container"? I want the majority of it to be inside of the container, but there are some occasions where I want it outside of one.

Does "Open in New Container Tab" in the right-click context menu of a tab work for you ? See also:

You don't have to assign sites to containers, it is often easier to open containers manually and can be accelerated with keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Shift+1-9).

Unfortunately that doesn't work because I have the site as "Always open in container", so attempting to open it in any other container (or no container) automatically changes it to the one container.

Yeah, but I want to access one page outside of containers and for all other pages of the website to load directly into a container. I don't even know if it's possible with the way the extension is set up, but that's what I'm trying to figure out

You can open the page in a private window which does not allow containers.
