Hi,

I have logged in in a new device with my firefox account and I can´t see anything of my backed up data.

Passwords, bookmarks, pluggins are gone... And I checked before that I had my sync on and everything was synced.

Before that, I added a secondary email and then put it as primary. Could you please check?

double check whether you're using the correct email-address or try resetting the sync settings, relog and try to sync again.

Do you still have your setting on one of the connected devices?

Did you reset the password for the Sync account because you didn't remember this password?

If you reset the password for the Mozilla account because you do not remember this password, then that will remove all data stored on the Sync server because this password is used to encrypt your data locally before it is uploaded to the Sync server and only this password or a possible recovery key you created earlier can decrypt this data.


You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if recent Sync logs are available. You can upload the file to a website if you can't post the content of the file in a reply.

No, I just changed my primary email address and my password because my company have been acquired and we have now different email addresses.

But, yesterday, I tried to log in many times and the sync was not working. Even when It said that I was logged in I needed to introduce my password again and again. So I finally resseted my password and started working… but then I lost all my sync files.

So I think I have lost many things due to a bug on this process.

Is it possible to do something else? I checked the sync logs but I didn’t found anything. Also, I don't have my settings in another device.
