I have a few websites where I can download videos to view later. One of them downloads into the designated file but it shows up as an internet file (.html) and will not open or play as a video. What can I do to fix this without messing up the ones that work ?

Firefox browser by default can't download protected video sites or sites like Youtube like you would download a file. Those requires 3rd party software to download protected site videos and that isn't something this forum helps with since that isn't a browser function.
