linking the "sendto" option in windows 11 to use thunderbird accoung
For many months I had this working. "sendto" used my selected Thunderbird account to send the email. After resetting my windows 11 system I lost the settings to make it work. The emails go to Outlook now. I have followed all the instructions I can find online but cannot fix the problem. For example, I out a link to Thunderbird in the sendto folder. If I click on that, Thunderbird's main screen opens instead of the email dialog.

If Thunderbird is running the account sendto: will select is the currently active account. If it is closed it will select the "default" account from those in outgoing server (SMTP) in account settings.
