I have a iMac, OS 10.5.8. I currently have Firefox 3.6.4/

Firefox asks me if I want to upgrade to 3.6.6. I go though the typical download process. Asks me to restart and all looks well. However at the end of it all I am not upgraded to 3.6.6.

Any suggestions? Why is this happening?

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

Firefox informed me that 3.6.6 was available

Let me clarify.

The problem is that it looks like I am downloading and installing the upgrade to 3.6.6 but the reality is that the upgrade doesn't install.

Yes, I did download the latest version - I tried again per your suggestion - but I still only have the previous version NOT 3.6.6.

For example, I downloaded and installed 3.6.6 but this AM I am prompted to install the upgrade to 3.6.6. I have rechecked and under "About Mozilla Firefox" it says I have 3.6.4 ????

Any thoughts???
