Recently when I try to get into my gmail through clicking on link at https://mail.google.com/mail/ I get just a blank page after loading and this problem does not occur using Chrome or IE8

The gmail link when I click it on my igoogle home page loads an empty page even though on the actual igoogle home page my gmail shows and I can click on individual emails to see. But doing it that way does not allow me to do things like manage labels or access my contacts
