With IE I can use File - Send - Page by E-mail... and it will insert a copy of the page in the body of an email. With Firefox the closest option I can find is File - Send Link

I like the option of being able to send the whole page in an email, a picture is worth a thousand words. I can add a link and comments as needed.

Firefox does not have a similar feature built-in, but there is an add-on that can do this. The Send Page By Email add-on does what you want, but the author has not updated it for a while and it is not listed as compatible with Firefox 3.6. It is possible to bypass the compatibility check to install the add-on, but there is no guarantee that the add-on will work. For details see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Updating_add-ons

This add-on has been updated for Firefox 3.6.* by a person who was not the author of the add-on, and they have made it available for download. For details see https://forums.addons.mozilla.org/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=770

Warning, use add-ons amended by third parties at your own risk.

Thanks for your prompt response.

I wish the author would update the original, I don't feel comfortable with trying to force it to work or the third party update.

Is it just me or is this feature a no brainer???
