How can I find and import a profile, extensions, tabs and all from a copy of Firefox installed on a hard drive that can only be accessed via external enclosure?

My laptop is on the fritz. Currently I can only access my files on that computer by removing the hard drive and using it as an external drive -this system too is a laptop. Is there any way to find and recover the profile from that hard drive to be used on a new system?

Thanks, but I want to transfer my preferences and extensions as well. I'm not having any problem with Firefox, so I don't want to lose any data.

Would that method restore a session that was active before it happened, also? Like, would I be able to get back my tabs?

Incidentally, through further testing, I can still access Firefox through safe mode, though the system will not work in safe mode with networking, or normal booting, so I can access the program directly in the system now, at least.
