When I go to Grooveshark, it prompts me to update to Firefox 3.0+. I have version 3.6 installed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox and it didn't work.

You need to reset your user agent string (identifies the version of Firefox), yours has been modified by the megaupload add-on. For details of how to do do that see this link - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Websites+or+add-ons+incorrectly+report+incompatible+browser
