I have just installed the latest version 3.6.13 so why do I now get each time I open Firefox I still get a warning to install the latest version.

I have just installed the latest version 3.6.13 and now each time I open Firefox I still get a warning to install the latest version. What more can I add to explain this problem. If I have just installed 3.6.13 version then why do I still get a warning on my Firefox home page that I have to upgrade.

You need to reset your user agent string so that it shows Firefox 3.6.13, for details see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Websites+or+add-ons+incorrectly+report+incompatible+browser
