How can I edit my new tab options so I can see 9 little windows of my most visted sites?

I installed a program that I deleted and it somehow altered my new tab options, which i was really upset about because firefox was much easier to use with it. Also, I don't really want to see yahoo pop up everytime I open a new tab.
