I still cannot get FireFox off my computer. I tried to start Manually by runningC:\Program Files\ Mozilla FireFox\uninstall\helper.exe.But cannot find it on my computer.So I still have the same problem.

why not just go into Control Panel & click on Programs then click on Uninstall Programs.. Scroll down until you see Mozilla Firefox & click on that & click 'uninstall' then follow directions.. that's always the easiest way to uninstall any program.. then defragment to close up the open spaces..

Yes I'm Loged in as Administrator. I'm the only one that uses this computer and I am going to control panel then to change or remove page and I hit remove like I have done for other programs many times but insred of removeing the program like it should the page just blinks and nothing happens.So I tried to remove it manualy but the search program on my computer couldn't find theMozilla FireFox uninstall program on my computer.

sounds interesting & your virus protection may have something to do with it what PC & OS are you using ??

also I went onto the Mozilla home page & typed in 'uninstall' in the search field & came up with this not sure if will help but worth the read

If the Uninstall Wizard does not run, you can start it manually, by running

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\uninstall\helper.exe.

So far I have tried everything everyone sugested with no luck, The only thing I haven't been able to run uninstall manualy because I can't figure out how to run it.I've typed C:\Program Files\Mozilla FireFox\uninstall\helper .exe. into my search engine internal and external with no luck. How do I run it.

clear your address bar of everything including the https:// that's normally there and manually type in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\uninstall\helper.exe. then hit enter & you should get a message that asks if you want to run it or save it if you choose to save it save it to the desktop & then when the icon appears on the desktop just double click on it to run it.. or when it asks the question do you want to run it or save it just click on run..

Not sure why you wouldn't want to use Firefox its a great browser far superior to Internet Explorer & safer but to each his own..

Press Win + R, a Run window will open. Type "C:\Program Files\Mozilla FireFox\uninstall\helper .exe" without quotes there, click "OK".

Please let us know whether that works.
