Autofill / autocomplete not functioning properly with mouse

auto-complete or auto-fill display items to choose from as typing in on Google search or other fill boxes, however, using the mouse the click on an item takes me back to only what I had typed. Using the down arrow and enter key option seems to work.

Do you have the AVG Site Advisor extension installed?
If so, disable it until AVG fixes it.

If not, see this to troubleshoot and find out which extension is causing that.
