I don't have to have any windows open to have version 4 start slow! I can play a game of solitaire while waiting! My old version didn't ever do that! It has just been since I upgraded to 4. I have a newer PC...running windows 7!

Is Firefox working faster with the new Profile??

If so, see this for getting your personal data from the old Profile into the new Profile.

Your old Profile is located here in Vista & Win7:
drive:\Users\Windows login user name\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\profile_name

yes it is working faster but the link you gave me for getting my cookies and all my stuff from the old profile is a bit confusing! Where it says: 4. Open the new Firefox profile folder Where is it? I opened my old firefox. went under Application Basics. clicked on open containing folder. That opened. Now how do I open my new profile folder? I am sure I am missing something. I just can't figure out what! I have all my old bookmarks. I just need the cookies and saved passwords. I am still confused on the open new profile folder and right click and paste. Where is my new folder. Is it after Open Containing Folder just like on the old profile? The window that opens up when you do that? I just don't want to be adding to it if that is not where I go!!!
