Firefox automatically updated when I opened the browser, and now my new tab button will not work. I tried restarting my computer too and it did not help.

This issue can be caused by the Ask.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) Your system details show that toolbar in the user agent as AskTbFWV5/3.11.3.15590
