yahoo mail button keeps disappearing

when I open firefox browser my yahoo mail button is normally on tool bar. sometimes once I have opened yahoo mail the button dissappears and I cannot recover it. Even re-booting PC does not always resolve the problem but then out of the blue it will reappear again

Update Adobe Flash via http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

If that doesn't fix the problem, please do the following:

  1. Click Help | Restart with Add-ons disabled.

  2. In the next menu which appears, checkmark: "Reset toolbars and Controls".

  3. Finally, click the button called "Make changes and restart".

  4. Reinstall your Yahoo mail button again.

N.B. The Yahoo toolbar is listed as a problematical extension. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions
