I can't download the Flash Player 9 until I close Firefox. How do I do this?

  1. Download and save the Flash installer to the desktop.
  2. Close Firefox via File > Exit
  3. Start the Flash installer with a double-click on the desktop icon.

If you still get that error then check the Task Manager for hanging Firefox processes.
