My son's online school, K12.com, does not support anything above Firefox 3.x. I upgraded to Firefox 5.o, but things were okay until the school did maintenance on their servers (or whatever they were doing). Now I cannot log on to their website and it was recommended that I downgrade Firefox back to one of the 3.x versions.

Chosen solution

Install Firefox Portable 3.6.20 to your hard drive for use at that website. It won't affect your other Firefox installation.

Did you remove your personal data when you uninstalled Firefox 3?

You should NEVER remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you will also lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
