Every time I uncheck the 'Remember passwords for Sites' and restart it's always checked again. Deleting my profile doesn't fix the problem either.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I want it to remember passwords on some accounts. But now the options are yes or not now. How about never like it used to be. And in setting you cant change which address are allowed to store passwords untill the passwords have been stored. It keeps on remembering bank passwords. In previous versions the exceptions tab in settings helped maintain this irritation.

You should still have the "Never Remember Password for this site" choice in the drop down list of the key icon dialog the opens if you enter a new name and password.

Did you click the arrow next to the Remember button?
