Unable to log in to this site: http://www.philipp-militaria.com/index_e.shtml; Am able to with IE.
Hello,
I am unable to log into this site: http://www.philipp-militaria.com/index_e.shtml.
I was able to until a recent update to Firefox but can't recall which one. I can log in with IE no problem. It's the only site I have problems with.
Thanks.
Bernie

I appreciate your help but that didn't work either.
Just a note that when I hit "Submit" to log on, nothing happens for about a minute and then a display of "The connection has timed out". I hit the back button, click on Submit again and that's when I get the "Access denied" display.
Configuring Firewalls
-> Type about:config in the address bar and press Enter
- When you see a Warning, click I'll be careful, I promise button
- In the Filter bar, type network.http.sendRefererHeader
- If the preference network.http.sendRefererHeader appears in BOLD text, right-click it and choose Reset
-> http://kb.mozillazine.org/Network.http.sendRefererHeader
Check and tell if its working.
Modified
Make sure that you do not block cookies from that website.
- Tools > Page Info > Permissions
Can you login if you switch to Private Browsing mode?
If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete cookies.sqlite-journal and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
network.http.sendRefererHeader was not in bold.
I can't login in Private Browsing and I checked to make sure cookies are not being blocked for that site. I deleted cookies.sqlite and cookies.sqlite-journal in a previous attempt.
I really appreciate your help.
Create a New Profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
-> Basic Troubleshooting: Make a New Profile
IF that New Profile works then you can recover your Bookmarks and Passwords from the Old Profile.
-> Recovering important data from an old profile
Check and tell if its working.
What happens if you try yo login?
Do you see an error message or you you redirected to the login page or another page?
Are there any secure https connections used?
The displal is in the attached pic. No https sites.
Did you try creating a new profile as suggested in my previous reply ??
I'll do the profile tomorrow. Sack time. ;)
