I can't get rid of Yahoo as my homepage, any suggestions?

I set Yahoo! as my homepage and now I can NOT get rid of it. I have tried resetting my homepage through Internet Options and Yahoo! keeps appearing as my homepage. This is getting VERY frustrating. All I want is to have the basic Firefox homepage to start with and then go from there.

If you mean the Internet Options control panel, actually, those settings are only for IE. Your Firefox options are here:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Options

The home page is set on the General tab, in the Startup section.

Note that if you installed any Yahoo add-ons, those add-ons might change your setting back to Yahoo. Let us know if you run into that.
