Android: Firefox does not support keyboard shortcuts
I use an external keyboard with my Nexus 7, which runs Android 4.2.2. Android supports keyboard shortcuts, such as "Ctrl+C", "Ctrl+X" and "Ctrl+V". When I use these shortscuts within other Android apps, the shortcuts produce the desired function. (These shortcuts work in Android's Google Chrome). When I use these shortcuts within Android's Firefox or Firefox Beta, nothing happens. This means that Firefox app does not support keyboard shortcuts. Do developers of Android's Mozilla Firefox plan to support keyboard shortcuts, such as "Ctrl+C", "Ctrl+X" and "Ctrl+V"?

have you seen the keyboard shortcut list Mobile keyboard shortcuts - Perform common tasks using the keyboard
Thank you Amitshree for the reply. I looked at the link which you provided. Mobile firefox supports "Move Down", "Move Up", "Page down", "Reload" and "Forward". Mobile Firefox does not support "Cut" (Ctrl+X), "Copy" (Ctrl+C) and "Paste" (Ctrl + V).
Please ask Mobile Firefox programmers to add "Cut", "Copy" and "Paste" keyboard shortcuts to Android's Mobile Firefox app. Thank you.
sure, dvm238. we are always trying to make firefox better:)
These should work in Firefox 22. Which is currently in the Aurora cycle. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/aurora/
If you want to wait for a more stable version more keyboard short cuts will be in Firefox Beta on May-15 and Firefox release on June-26.
I wish to say "Thank You" to you and to developers for supporting keyboard shortcuts.
Something else, in "Chrome Browser - Google" app, if I press the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl" + "F", then a search box appears. In Firefox Beta app, if I press "Ctrl" + "F", a search box does NOT appear. Please support keyboard shortcut "Ctrl" + "F", so when pressed, a search box would appear. Thank you.
