Internet Explorer runs slowly and often will not display pages, so I have turned to Mozilla Firefox as my main browser. I play games at King.com. Unfortunately, when I go to King with Firefox and try to log in, all I get is the log in page over and over, it will not progress past the log in page. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the exe program for King, but that does not fix the program. I do not believe it is my version of Flash as it runs in IE. I'm not well versed in computer tech and don't know how to troubleshoot this problem; please help!

Hello,

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the Clear now button.

Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

Thank you.

Yes, this seems to have cleared up the problem. I knew it must be something simple and stupid, but was frustrated as to which simple and stupid. Thank you.
