https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/962982 Was closed. Plz, don't lock this. No one gave the users an explanation why this behaviour was happening so I am giving it here. Does not matter how old a question is, it still remained unswered and replied then locked. Very annoying. I have an answer for the users, went to help, thread was locked, so here I am opening a new thread.

Are you using PaleMoon? From what I can see, the "browser.sessionstore.exactPos" preference does not exist in Firefox 25.

(I went to http://dxr.mozilla.org/ and searched for that preference in the source code.)

thanks so much for speaking out :P and offering new hope!

very interesting that pale moon devs have taken it into their own hands. hopefully it will encourage mozilla to implement it into firefox as well

No problem at all Brother. My very best expressions to tell the truth.
