I'm not able to solve this issue.

Financial chart does not load it keeps buffering. The same is true for twitch but videos on youtube work fine.

I'm thankful if you could help me with this one.

When i want to stream music from "app.idagio.com" in Firefox in lossless quality it says, that Firefox does not support flac lossless streaming. On a PC with Linux, the Idagio-App cannot be used. I tried Chromium, and that works, so why not in Firefox?

I use Firefox in Linux and Windows. On Linux I can quickly and easily go to the last tab used by typing ctrl-tab (it even allows me to go to the 5 tabs used before the last one used).

How do I do this in Firefox on Windows? Nothing I've tried seems to work.

All of a sudden my Apple laptop Firefox is responding VERY slowly. It takes about 10 seconds from hitting enter to any screen response. I've tried it with and without my VPN on, and there's been no changes to my Avast security software (that I know of). I've reviewed the settings/preferences without any clue about what is happening and what I could do to minimize it. I've run a speed check which resulted in 287 down and 190 up, so it's definitely NT my network.

I've got a suggestion (for Firefox developers) for enabling the quick and easy saving, organizing, and restoring of tabs.

I've usually got maybe 200 or 300 tabs open --- all the time. And I always have Firefox restore them when I reboot. But they're very disorganized. Here's a suggestion for enabling the organizing of them more easily and quickly, using several features already available in Firefox.

1) use ctrl-shift-d to create a set of bookmarks with all of the tabs 2) export this set of bookmarks as HTML to a file 3) use your favorite text or HTML editor to organize the tabs 4) import this organized file into Bookmarks (with the same or a different name) 5) allow Firefox to open this new bookmark file as a new set of tabs (possibly replacing some tabs currently in use)

This seems to me a very logical, and not too difficult to implement, method of organizing a set of disorganized tabs, using a lot of Firefox infrastructure already in place. It would be a big help to me, and I suspect many others as well.

Dear Team After Updating from 102.15.1 (32Bit) to 115.28.0 (32Bit) I can not connect to the provider "pop.hispeed.ch" anymore. Ping pop.hispeed.ch (on CMD) shows normal raction of beeing reachable with a "reply from xxxx.". I am on Windows 7 SP1. I have checked several times all setting POP and SMTP, switched off Firewall, uninstalled virus scanner, and and and many more (all knowledge found on internet..). Pressing the "Get Message" button in the upper menue bar shows no raction when pressed. The icon "Get Message" on the left side of the button "+ New Message" results in a none moving blue status bar at the right bottom of the window. After a while with the message "timed out.. ".In the settings "Config Editor.." the values of "mailnews.tcptimeout" are set to "300", and "true". I am using TB since donkey years with many many eMails. Are the lost? Facebook reactions don't work for me on firefox. They do work on other browsers. Sometimes they are limited to one or two from the range of emojis FB provides for reactions. Closing the app doesn't help. Restarting the computer doesn't help.

There are video playback issues on both desktop Firefox and Android Firefox, but there is no category for both. However, I considered not being able to play the videos at all a more serious issue.

The HEVC video plays on android, but with lag as if there were no hardware acceleration while it plays fine on Chromium-based browsers. This same issue was present on desktop Firefox, but then hevc support disappeared in one of the updates altogether.

This page shows that HEVC isn't supported, despite nobody on the web reporting this bug. And neither is HDR supported for some reason. Despite Firefox Android having the same report from that site apart from the user agent, it's seemingly able to decode that video on CPU, whereas on Windows it shows a Mimetype error. Disabling hardware acceleration doesn't make Firefox play it on the CPU. Is there a fix for these?

The shortcut icons on my home screen used to direct me to frequently used websites. Now shortcuts are showing up linking to to recently used websites, pushing off or even removing the ones recently used. I can't find anything in settings to remedy the problem so I have disabled home screen shortcuts. Do you have a patch to correct the problem?

I open Firefox (default browser) and it will connect but then I go to another tab and it doesn't load. I then have to exit Firefox and sign in again to my email or my bank. Sometimes it's stays connected for 10 minutes and then it drops. I can go immediately to Chrome and I have no issues. This started happening about 2 weeks ago after an update. Not sure what the problem is but when I look at my network connection it shows it's connected and secure. Is it the update or could it be my extensions? Firefox says it has the latest update and I did update one of my extensions so I think everything should be good. Any ideas?

My firefox app on my windows will not start. I have removed and reloaded several times. Sometimes it works but as soon as I turn off my computer and turn it on later, it will not start

I have tracked down the situation where my Internet download speeds drop from about 598 Mbps to around 267 Mbps after I open Mozilla. I am running a desktop computer with Windows 11 (updated) and Edge and Chrome. I am hardwired directly to my Xfinity modem (no WiFi connection). When I close Mozilla, my speed goes to 598 Mbps, and when I open Mozilla, my speed drops to 267 Mbps. This seems excessive and unacceptable. Are there any settings or anything to adjust, not to have Mozilla be such a drain on my system?

Using Nord VPN:

  All gmail accounts are set up for imap on Thunderbird:

    1) With VPN on, I cannot send/receive emails from/to my gmail accounts using Thunderbird.
    2) With VPN off, I can send/receive emails from/to my gmail accounts
    3) With VPN on or off and logged directly on mail.google.com, I am able to send/receive emails

And, yes, I have tried different port numbers and all server info is correct for imap on Thunderbird as indicated by #2 above. This change happened overnight and Thunderbird always worked faultlessly with Nord VPN for years. I don't think we can blame Nord VPN for this, given #3 above.

Your thoughts?

If I turn on the HEVC transcoding option on in the Plex settings, and watch a video that uses the Transcoding, Firefox will have a very small black bar at the bottom (might have also impossible to see black bar on the right to keep the aspect ratio). No issues when using x264.

I don't know if this is a Plex or Firefox issue, but it doesn't show up with other players/browsers that I've tried.

The attached screenshot is taken from the bottom of the video by using PiP against white blackground.

The Discord website does not play embedded video files (mov, mp4, etc). This is an issue specific to Firefox, and is not present in other browsers such as Chrome. This issue is only for video files and not embeds from sites such as Youtube or Twitter/X. Furthermore, when downloading these videos, they play solely the audio and not the video part of it. This is not an issue with any other downloaded video. I have tried clearing my cache and restarting Firefox, as well as disabling my extensions. None of which has worked.
