why aren't norton toolbars supported in the new version of mozilla?
I always use Norton identity safe, since I upgraged to the new version of mozilla. It now does'nt support norton, so what do I do now?

They are supported, http://community.norton.com/t5/Product-Update-Announcements/Firefox-31-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/ba-p/1155994
Please note two things:
- It is Norton's responsibility to support Firefox, not the other way around
- Norton's toolbars are largely useless junk.

klevinsohn, just wanted to let you know that I had the same problem, so I did a support chat with Norton. When she did a remote session on my computer, she went right to add-on, extensions! There it was. Imagine my surprise and chagrin. Click on the menu (the 3 parallel bars top right of screen), add-ons, extensions, Norton toolbar. So glad to finally have it back. Hope this helps.
SusanForFirefox, Norton had a Liveupdate for their toolbar extension for Firefox 34.0 on Dec 1st the day of Fx 34.0 release.
Unless they had a issue with their extension and it needed a new update, they always had a Extension update ready with a day of new major Firefox Release ever sinc3e Firefox 5.0

James, normally when Firefox automatically updated, it was only a short time (maybe a day or so) when the Norton toolbar was also automatically added. However, sometime back that stopped happening. When I went to Foxfire's list of available add-ons, I couldn't find it, and the description of the 3 types of add-ons certainly did not sound to me like it was an extension, but that was where it was! It was also listed as "disabled", and I know I never did that, so it is a mystery to me how it happened. I'm not extremely skilled with all this stuff, so it was very frustrating to me. I hate IE, but that was what I had to use in order to use Norton Identity Safe. klevinsohn sounded like he was as frustrated as I was, so I was excited to be able to give him a possible solution. I hope it worked for him. I've learned now to look at ALL possible places if I lose something like an add-on. :)
