How to find original url of a saved webpage
I often need to save webpages for research purposes - this way I can always return to the page to read information, even if the original page was deleted (which happens more often than one realises!). However, I run into a problem when I need to add in the reference for this webpage because I can't find the original URL of the saved webpage to add into the source's bibliographical details. Is there any way to locate this? Thanks

Maybe this extension helps:
- Saved From URL: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/saved-from-url/
Thanks cor-el, but I've had a look at a few saved complete Webpages, and I can't find that particular comment - especially not at the top. I have managed to find the URL somewhere in the metadata, but there are so many URLs in the metadata that it's quite hard to pinpoint which one is the actual one - especially if the page doesn't exist online. I can't believe that there isn't an easier way to do this - anyone who uses online sources for research could use this feature.
The extension works for me with the Save Page button in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list and in the File menu.
