Fire fox prevents certain pops some of which I need how can I make the selections?

I was viewing a page.it offered a printer friendly version. I clicked to get it and fire fox would not allow the pop up.

Hello,

You can modify your pop-up settings by clicking the site identity information button - the padlock or the globe icon on the left side of your address bar - and setting the Pop-ups to "Allow".

Alternatively, you can enter about:permissions in your address bar and hit enter. In the left pane, look for the site that you want pop-up windows to be allowed for, and select it. In the main pane, allow pop-up windows there.
