New messages not showing in inbox

more options

Inbox has stopped showing new messages. I see the count increase, but no new messages show. For mail that I've set filters for, I can see those in the folders they are moved to.

What I've tried: - Maybe too much mail? (I keep a lot, going back 9 years) I've emptied most of the trash, and moved old msgs from inbox to archive folders. - Compacted mailboxes - Shut down TBird, deleted global-messages-db.sqlite then restarted to rebuild index.

I can access my mail through the web on the mail server, so can see the mail that is not showing up in inbox.

Got it. "Repair folder" in the Properties dialog brought them back. So simple, I'm embarrassed.
