New Gmail account, sent mail always returns undeliverable.
I just set up an email account for a friend of mine on Gmail. Everytime we try to send emails in Thunderbird, they come right back as undeliverable in the inbox. I double checked all the settings (POP3), they are set exactly the same way they are on my Thunderbird, on my computer and I have no issues. Checked on Gmail's side and the settings are the same as mine and again no issues with my Gmail account ! Remember, Thunderbird as well as Gmail are set for POP3 and for also using IMAP on cell phones. I also deleated the account in Thunderbird and started with a freash slate, same results! Any help would be appreciated!

POP3 is old school. It stores messages on that device only, unless you choose to keep a copy on the server.
Set it up as IMAP, and post the reply headers to the email that bounces back here.

Pop and imap are receiving protocols. If you are having problems sending you need to be looking at the SMTP server settings.
Ron,
If you add the Gmail account to the latest version of TB via the "add account" option, it will setup the incoming and outgoing mail server automatically. It should launch your browser and connect to her Google account, and prompt you to allow Thunderbird access to your account. This will result in a IMAP account on that machine. Then send a test message, if it returns share with us the language of the returned message.
