Less web timeout with Firefox 52+ (Outlook web app)
Hi,
In our company we've updated Firefox from 43 to 52. Now many users complains about his session in the "Outlook web app" expires very soon, like 5-10 minutes, and before the update it was at least 25 minutes.
I compared Firefox 43, Firefox 52, Firefox 60 and Internet Explorer 11. With IE11 and Ff 43 the session lasts much longer than Ff 52 and 60.
Any ideas? Tips?
Thx

I think web outlook runs better wth IE or Edge as the browser of choice. Out company I work at removed FF because FF didn't have functionality with Web Outlook when logging into it.

But must be some change in Firefox with the newer versions, Firefox 43 was working perfect :-(

Having a similar issue after update Firefox ESR 52 to ESR 60. The session of my application should be timeout for 60 minutes, and it worked fine in ESR 52. However, the session now expires around 30 - 60 minutes after the upgrade, and it's very random.

Hi, with the other person making a comment in your question it took your question off the board until your last post.
Version 43, do not even remember 54, they come and they go and you move on. Session Managers : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search/?platform=windows&q=Session%20Manager

I will make comment that there has been various issues with Outlook and Firefox and Microsoft. Microsoft every once in awhile will put some code out that links will not open in anything but Edge.
Firefox has no control over how long Outlook lets you stay on. Look in the Options on the web site.
