When I want to sign in for sync on my iPhone I have to type in a six-figure number, which I shall get per Mail. Yet it takes up to 1 hour unless I get the mail. So the 5 Minutes period is over. You need to put it in before the time limit expires, so I would check your email right away, then put in the code.
